What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a holistic method based on the ability of the body to regulate itself. The focus is not only on what is often painful for patients, but also on understanding the actual cause of the disorder.

For this reason, our chiropractors always examine and treat the entire spinal column, because the location of the pain is not always (necessarily) identical to the location of the cause. Often the first treatment successes are very fast. An individual treatment plan, initially 1-2 treatments a week, then stabilizes this situation and the body "learns" to "forget" the previous malposition.

Where does Chiropractic come from and what can it do for you?

Chiropractic means "done by hand" and finds its origin already in ancient Egypt and China.

Already 5000 years ago, the first attempts were made to treat the spine manually.

In 1895 chiropractic was introduced by DD. Palmer in the USA and developed further into American chiropractic by his son BJ.

In the course of the last 100 years, this has given rise to a scientific discipline of its own, which deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.

In the meantime, chiropractors not only work with their hands alone, but also with special tables and instruments (but not with syringes and medication), which means that American chiropractic can be applied gently even in cases of already existing degeneration (wear and tear).
